We are about to conclude the first quarter of the year and we would like to share the experiences and news that the Peique family have developed during the first three months of 2014.
We are a family winery where each person develops one or several activities but in one way or another we share our point of view in order to improve productivity and ultimately the quality of our wines and the closeness with our customers.
While the technical team of the winery led by Luis and Jorge Peique has been in charge of the pruning of the vineyard and the elaboration of the new wines, the commercial and export team has been present at international fairs such as VINISUD in Montpellier (France) and Prowein in Dusseldorf (Germany) presenting our wines to potential importers.
Jorge Peique participated as a technical expert in the Valencia Verema Experience in February and conducted a vertical tasting of Family Selection with attendees of the event within the Authentic Bierzo program. The sum of three vintages: 2001, 2005 and 2006, summarize our fervor for the land and the vineyard for three generations in El Bierzo.
The work in family brings together meeting points and a good organization of the day to day. This is the strong point of Mar Peique in charge of the management of the winery with her husband Luis. The attention to the client and how to communicate the tradition that unites our family to the clients, to the friends that little by little are increasing the members of Peique in the World.
We have achieved important achievements in the international scene and the effort has been rewarded in media publications in the United States as in the newspaper Chicago Tribune where our Peique Godello was valued as a wine enthusiast Of tremendous spring character.
The wines of the family maintain their positioning in the international market as evidenced with the scores obtained above 90 points in the North American publication which reinforces support for our importer in the United States.
And from the cellar the team formed by Isabel and David has attended the visits of friends who have wanted to share their time and enjoy our offer of wine tourism .
We bet for the Bierzo as our origin that makes us different and for the family as an indelible essence of our wines .
